Obama Campaign After Romney Releases Tax Returns: “What Else Is He Hiding?”…

Like his college transcripts? No, wait, that’s Obama. 

(The Hill) — Team Obama on Saturday immediately seized on the release of Mitt Romney’s tax returns, asking in a new web video: “What else” is the GOP nominee hiding?

“Why won’t Mitt Romney come clean with the American people?” the new web video asks. “What else is he hiding?”

The question — which has faded in recent days — reemerged Friday with the release of Romney’s 2011 tax return and 20-year average tax rate and appears to be gaining steam again in the Obama campaign.

An e-mail from the campaign on Saturday notes that Romney’s tax return includes 813 pages of which 65 percent “deal with overseas investments” including substantial investments in a Chinese oil company and what the dozens of foreign bank accounts, “millions of dollars stashed away in notorious tax havens.”
